...having a baby is such an intimate and vulnerable time in a woman’s life, so I was looking for an obstetrician who would understand my concerns and address my questions not only with the necessary authority and knowledge, but with sensitivity and compassion. Dr Rahul Sen offered all this in his care... He was always very supportive of my wish for natural childbirth and shared care with a midwife...in fact, he did everything possible to ensure my comfort and safety both during pregnancy and childbirth. My husband and I cannot recommend Dr Sen highly enough. He certainly goes beyond the cliché of busy obsetrician!
Dr Sen, throughout the whole pregnancy, was always friendly, approachable and always made us feel that time was no object during our appointments, even though he was obviously very busy. His level of support before, during and after the birth, were well above the call of duty and we were delighted that we were lucky enough to receive his professional care. I cannot praise the staff highly enough and would recommend The Prince of Wales Private Hospital to anyone considering private healthcare. We are hoping that we are lucky enough to be able to use these facilities again in the not to distant future.
We just wanted to say thanks to Dr Sen for helping to make the birth of our son such an amazing experience. During our visits prior to the birth Rahul was timely, personable and very thorough. Rahul was extremely informative, calm, & consultative through the labour and one of the best things was that he had a flexible approach and adapted his plans to suit the labour which resulted in an unassisted and drug free birth which was great for both the mum and our son. Its obvious Rahul loves what he does which makes it a pleasure to be one of his patients. Thanks Rahul.
Dr Sen ensured our first pregnancy was a wonderful experience by providing my husband and I time, reassurance and thoughtfulness. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and we never felt rushed. I enjoyed attending my appointments with Dr Sen as his support and obvious expertise left us confident to be under his care. Dr Sen, thank you for delivering our healthy, beautiful daughter into the world, we look forward to going through our next pregnancy with you.

After having my son prematurely I had a number of concerns with my second pregnancy and chose Rahul as my obstetrician. He was amazing throughout the process and was always able to see me for additional appointments or to speak to me by phone to alleviate any worries I had. Rahul organised specific tests to ensure my second pregnancy was progressing as expected and to keep me calm! I would highly recommend him to any woman having a baby as he is professional, supportive and shows real concern and compassion for all of your questions throughout the entire pregnancy. He's all the things you thought you couldn't have from a superbly qualified and knowledgable medical expert. Warm, patient, personal, calm and available. Always willing to take the time to talk through all your queries until you are comfortable. Ensures you know your treatment options and puts you and your baby first. Whether it's high needs care, emergency surgery or a blissfully uncomplicated pregnancy, Dr Sen is who I would want every time. we feel so lucky to have had him as part of our journey to parenthood!
I want to thank Dr Sen for everything he did for us during and after my pregnancy. With a not particularly easy pregnancy, Dr Sen was very caring and supportive and always took the time to discuss matters and suggest solutions. His recommendations for a successful delivery were spot on and I can’t praise him highly enough for his knowledge, experience and professionalism. Dr. Sen is a wonderful Obstetrician. He has provided me with the highest quality of care through both of my pregnancies and helped me deliver two healthy baby girls. I had a complication with the first delivery due to baby's position and required lactation consultants for both pregnancies. I always felt comfortable with Dr. Sen, trusting his recommendations completely. I was also extremely happy with his referrals to other healthcare professionals.
